LEGEND


Course Location


County
City (Active courses only)


Course Availability


Public = Blue (Courses open to the general public and includes Semi-Private courses)
Resort/Public = Green (Resorts that have courses open to the public)
Resort/Private = Purple (Resorts with courses only available to guests)
Private = Red (Clubs, communities and home owner associations with private courses)
Closed = Black/Grey (No longer in existence or name has changed)

Some golf courses may have these additional traits:

M = Municipal = The golf course is owned by a local government body.
R = Resident = The golf course provides discounted green fees to residents.
S = Semi-Private = The golf course has members which may receive preferential treatment.


Course Type (Active courses only)


18 = Regulation 18-hole golf course
9 = Regulation 9-hole golf course
18E = Executive style 18-hole golf course
9E = Executive style 9-hole golf course


Multi


Multi = Active facilities with multiple courses.
Some courses are part of a bigger complex with additional golf courses on site.
For example, a 18 hole course that has another 18 hole golf course on site would be shown as 18[36].


Regions


Due to sheer volume of golf courses in Florida, I have classified Florida into 8 regions:
North West | North Central | North East
Central West | Central East
South West | South East
South

Alpha - Golf Courses listed in alphabetical order.
Architects - Designers in alphabetical order with course listings.
By Date - Golf Course locations listed in chronological order of appearance.
Ranges - Golf Courses that have driving ranges open to the public.
